This image was taken on a trip to Knight Inlet in the fall of 2006. This Grizzly was walking along a river channel looking for Pink Salmon. For a while he didn't notice me about fifty feet away taking his picture. Suddenly he looked up and saw me. The look on his face said "what the hell do you think you're doing", at which point I left...quickly. He is a good size bear in great shape.
