This image was taken on the way home from a trip to Arizona. These dunes spread out for miles. They are located just outside "Stovepipe Wells" in Death Valley California. I got up before daylight and hiked in to catch the sunrise on the dunes. Death Valley is a great place to visit. It is actually one of the few places that is below sea level. This place is best visited anytime but summer. It can be unbearably hot here.
