This image was taken in the fall of 2006 in the Columbia Gorge in southern Washington State. There are many streams that cascade out of the hillsides, some forming big waterfalls and others that just tumble over the steep rocky hillsides. I liked this image because of the way the water spreads out as it approaches the viewer combined with the rich green moss that clings to all the exposed rocks.
