This image was taken in my back yard. I used a macro lens designed to photograph the mimiature world. I used a flash mounted off camera so that the flower would be flooded with light and properly exposed while leaving the background underexposed and black. The flash creates specular highlights on the dew droplets creating a crisp effect.
